It's fine. I thought it would be a little softer all around. The teeth are nice and flexible, but the outer plastic is hard. I was looking for something that would be safer to wear in the car. I was looking for something that would be safer to wear in an accident. I didn't want to wear something that could dig into my skull if impact happened. I think the outer plastic could still be crushed into skin, so I'll just wear this around the house.
